About
When Johanna Martzy died, prematurely at the age of 54, on August 13th 1979, her passing was not widely remarked upon by the music world. Doremi is proud to be part of the process of affirming Johanna Martzy’s greatness as an artist.
As with previous Legendary Treasures issues, this volume features material that has never been released before. Hopefully new discoveries of live concert material emerge, such as this set, her growing legacy and her stature as a great artist will be further established.
